What Is Earlobe Repair Surgery?
Earlobe repair surgery repairs stretched or split earlobes under local anaesthetic. It can restore the natural appearance of the ear and allow patients to wear earrings in the way they want again.
The damaged tissue is carefully refreshed, reshaped before the skin is closed with very fine stitches.
Recovery
Healing typically takes a week for stitches to come out and another week for the wound to become strong enough to not require dressings. Once fully healed, the area can be re-pierced nearby (but not through the scar).
